mixed lentil soup
This lentil soup made with mixed lentils carrots and and a little tomato puree is a good source of protein, folic acid and vitamin Aand C.

Ingredients
Ingredient quantities shown are for 4 portion

Preparation
- Add 3 cups water, onion and carrots to the lentils and pressure cook for 5-10 minutes.
- Mash and pass it through a sieve.
- Transfer to a saucepan.
- Add the tomato puree, salt and pepper.
- Boil over a low flame for 5 minutes and serve hot.
