  1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, dry red chillies and onions
  2. Saute onions until light brown, add amaranth leaves and salt.
  3. Add little water and close and keep for 2 minutes until done
  4. Add grated coconut
  5. NOTE: other greens like agathi. manathakali, drumstick leaves, spinach can be used to make this dish
