Spicy prawn soup

spicy prawn soup is a hot and sour prawn soup with a taste close to that of a tom yum soup. This is a light soup which serves as a good appetizer.

Cook Time: 15 mins
  1. Grind the garlic, coriander leaves, peppercorns, ginger and chilli together.
  2. Heat the oil, add ground paste and sauté for a minute.
  3. Add the prawns and stir-fry for a few minutes.
  4. Add water and bring the prawns to boil.
  5. Then cover with lid and simmer till prawns are cooked.
  6. Add the soya sauce and lemon juice.
  7. Add salt and pepper.
