Shredded papaya salad
This is sweet and sour salad with shredded papaya and garnished with ground peanuts. Papaya also called has the power fruit contains abundant health benefits.It?s a low calorie fruit with a high fiber content and also contains good amounts of vitamin C, carotene, antioxidants and essential minerals.

Preparation
- Soak the tamarind in water for a few minutes and extract the water
- Grind garlic, chillies and a pinch of papaya in a motor and pound with with a pestle.
- Pound the jaggery and salt with that mixture until everything is mixed.
- Shred the papaya and tomatoes and place them in a bowl.
- Add lime juice, garlic and chilli dressing and the tamarind water.
- Mix them well until papaya is well coated.
- Add roasted ground peanuts and serve.
