Preparation

Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 10 mins
  1. Mix the water and atta and knead well until it is soft.
  2. Leave the dough for about 5 minutes.
  3. Break dough up into 10 pieces - about the size of a table-tennis ball.
  4. Roll out each ball into a 5" dia circle - sprinkle atta flour as needed to ease the rolling.
  5. Cook the phulka's on both sides on a low heat pan for about 10 sec on each side.
  6. Remove from pan and put directly on flame quickly turning it over - say about 3-5 sec on each side.
  7. The phulka will balloon up.
  8. Remove from flame and serve hot!
