Ingredients
Ingredient quantities shown are for 5 piece
Preparation
- Mix the water and atta and knead well until it is soft.
- Leave the dough for about 5 minutes.
- Break dough up into 10 pieces - about the size of a table-tennis ball.
- Roll out each ball into a 5" dia circle - sprinkle atta flour as needed to ease the rolling.
- Cook the phulka's on both sides on a low heat pan for about 10 sec on each side.
- Remove from pan and put directly on flame quickly turning it over - say about 3-5 sec on each side.
- The phulka will balloon up.
- Remove from flame and serve hot!
