Pasta Pomodoro

Basic Italian pasta with a home cooked tomato sauce.

Preparation

Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 10 mins
  1. Chop the tomatoes and deseed.
  2. Warm the olive oil in a pan and saute the garlic until translucent.
  3. Add basil and tomatoes and simmer for 1 hour.
  4. Add salt to taste.
  5. Follow directions on the package to cook the penne (or other pasta).
  6. Drain pasta and immediately add to the sauce and serve.
  7. Garnish with parmesan cheese
