Mutter paneer

This is a north Indian dish with paneer and peas definitely makes it a protein rich one. Besides being good sources of protein peas, has good amounts of vitamin K, C,B6, folic acid and fiber and paneer is rich in calcium.

Preparation

Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 20 mins
  1. Cut paneer into small pieces.
  2. Fry them with little oil till light brown on all sides.
  3. Chop tomato, onion and green chilli and grind them in a mixie.
  4. Heat oil in a kadai, add bay leaves and cloves.
  5. Add the ground paste and ginger garlic paste and fry for 3 minutes.
  6. Add chilli powder, coriander powder, pepper, garam masala, turmeric powder and salt. Stir well.
  7. Add the peas and stir for another 3 minutes.
  8. Add required water and bring gravy to boil.
  9. Add the paneer pieces. Let it simmer for sometime.
  10. Remove from flame and garnish with coriander leaves
