  1. Grate the coconut.
  2. Grind the coconut, dalia (Chickpeas), green chillies, salt and tamarind with a little water.
  3. Heat the oil and fry the mustard seed along with the red-chillies and curry leaves.
  4. Pour this over the ground mixture and mix well.
