Ingredients

Preparation
- Cut capsicum, tomato and toasted bread into square pieces
- Roast onions directly over the flame. Cut them also into square pieces.
- For the dressing mix together vinegar, pepper, pickled gherkins, salt, and mixed herbes.
- In a serving bowl, mix together the onions, capsicum, tomato, bread cubes and ice- berg lettuce.
- Just before serving add dressing and toss well. Garnish with toasted bread crumbs.
