Bean burger

Vegetarian bean burgers. Can be eaten with burger buns, toast or as a meal accompaniment. Great school lunch for kids !

Preparation

Cook Time: 10 mins
  1. Soak the beans overnight in water.
  2. Add salt and cook them in a pressure cooker, the next day so they are soft.
  3. Mash the cooked beans and set aside.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan, add some oil.
  5. Sautee garlic, onions.
  6. Add powdered spices.
  7. Clean and fine chop the mushrooms. Add to the pan and continue to sautee.
  8. Add the mashed beans.
  9. Season with salt and pepper.
  10. Turn off the heat.
  11. When the mixture is cooled, make 6 equal portions.
  12. Shallow-fry with cooking oil in a pan.
  13. Burger patties are ready !
