Aloo gobi masala

For all the potato lovers this gravy is an interesting combination of potato and cauliflower in a north Indian style. With cauliflower being notable for its vitamin C, folic acid, potassium and fiber contents and potato being a good source of vitamin C, potassium, iron and copper this is a good nutritious subji to go with chapattis.

Preparation

Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 20 mins
  1. Cut potato and cauliflower into cubes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add green chillies.
  3. Add onions and sauté till golden brown and add the ginger garlic paste.
  4. Add tomatoes, let it cook till raw smell goes.
  5. Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder.
  6. Add little water and let it cook for 3 minutes
  7. Add cauliflower and potato, sauté for 5 minutes
  8. Cover the pan and cook for a few minutes until tender.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves.
